The Alexandria, Virgina, Sheriff’s Office operates the Alexandria Detention Center, a direct supervision facility considered state-of-the-art in jail design. Visiting hours at the center are as follows:

• Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
