This site will provide you with the information you need to know on how the bail bond system works in Coronado.  When someone is arrested in the City of Coronado they are usually taken to the police department for booking.  Depending on the charges will depend on how long it will take to process the person into the system.  Sometimes it can be 30 minutes and other times it can be 2 hours. Once they are booked they will be transported to the San Diego Central Jail Facility in downtown San Diego.
The police department will complete a series of forms, take booking photos, do fingerprints, do a Live Scan ID verification process before they have completed the booking process.  Once the person is booked, your family member/friend will be eligible for bail.  You should then contact Premiere Bail Bonds to start the process for their release.  But you should be aware that the Coronado Police Department does not allow anyone to be bailed out from their facility.  You will have to wait for them to be transferred to the San Diego Central Jail Facility.

At the San Diego Central Jail Facility in San Diego, the booking process is a much longer one. The Central jail is run by the Sheriffs Department. This is a very busy jail and the booking process takes about 3-10 hours depending on how busy the jail is.  Once booked and eligible for bail, a bond may be posted with the cashier’s office to begin the release process. Once they have verified and begun the release process it can take up to another 3-6 hours to get them released. We recommend that once you know the bond has been posted, which you can call your bail agent for this information, that you wait at least 3 hours before contacting the San Diego Central Jail to ask them if they have an approximate time of release of your family member/friend.  Be aware that when you do go to the jail that there is no parking except in metered spots and parking lots that charge a fee for parking.

The most common bail bond is a 10% bail bond. Being flexible and working with you on financial arrangements such as collateral and credit terms is what we do for you here at Premiere Bail Bonds. So by selecting Premiere Bail Bonds you have made the appropriate decision.  We will insure that your family member/friend gets the opportunity to be out on bail during the criminal proceedings against him/her.   Don't go through this difficult time alone call Premiere Bail Bonds.
